Stuart Zola did some brilliant misdirection to cover a false start, and then a wad of bills repeatedly changed value in his hands.Theme – twisted magic
Charlie Mullaney made a signed coin disappear from a volunteer’s hand and appear inside a little nest of coin boxes inside a locked box.
Bob Suhr, also known as Aragorn, had trouble with his effect but managed to pull a handful of silks from a balloon anyway.
Mike Pranzinko painted four different cards with a joker and turned them into four jokers. He then performed a second effect, twisting four jokers and then turning them into aces.
Mike Burkhead penetrated a string through his fingers. His fingers remained magically attached to his hands!General
Terry Wenham began by getting kissed by a joker, so the twisted magic theme was really in force. Someone named a card, and he pressed his joker into the pack – and revealed the named-of card! He then transferred a kiss mark from the joker to the back of the named card. He then had a spectator stab the card into the deck and located the card again.
Jeff Wasley produced a hundred dollars and said the winner would have a chance to win it. This got us all excited while he set up a twister sheet. David was the lucky volunteer. He selected at random one card of all the cards stuck to the twister sheet. This card turned out to be the same as the card in Jeff’s pocket – plus all of Jeff’s other pockets were empty!
Lynn Fox borrowed a dollar, twisted it up, and tore off the end. He then turned his hand –and from the torn remains poured coins! He then restored the bill.
Christophe Fouquet had a red card selected and put into a blue packet – from where it disappeared and showed up lying face down on the table. The coveted royal blue pen was won by Jeff Wasley!
Gene Hendrix had a spectator pick a card. He then pulled out a pack of his business cards and showed that on the back was a hand holding a fan of cards. He pulled one out – shook it – and all the cards printed in the fan disappeared, leaving a picture of the hand holding only the selected card!
Joe Turner did a Marx Brothers themed trick, which immediately displayed his good taste. Cards representing the brothers repeatedly changed identities.
Joe Morrison had a spectator pick a card from a deck while his back was turned, and reinsert it into the deck. He then turned around, picked up the deck and managed to locate her card.
Howie Marmer had someone chose a card. He then put two boards down and clearly showed the boards. He then showed the card has penetrated the boards…an ace – but it was the wrong card. He tried again – another ace. The spectator hit the boards twice – hard – and the card appeared enlarged and printed directly on the boards!
